Comprehensive Training

Become one of the safest boaters on the water

We provide members with thorough comprehensive training. Our goal for our members is to create a safe, enjoyable time out on the water season after season.

• Members train with captains and our experienced dock staff until they are the best boater they can be! 

• In addition we get you your NYS Boating Certificate at no charge.

• All members spend 3-4 hours on the water, getting hands-on experience with the boat, docking and navigation. Further instruction is always available if requested.

• Members can also schedule additional docking and navigational practice directly with their dock master.

• ​We also regularly have free dock and dine clinics with our members to offer helpful boating tips. 

• We also host educational zoom classes throughout the off-season to strengthen our members' skills and keep boating in everyone's mind during the colder months.  
   

Carefree Boat Clubs can boast as having the best Safety metrics of any boat club in the nation as stated by the National Safe Boating Council. Our members are safer boaters.
